what kind of picture taker you got there?:

 

Nikon D80 with an MB-D80 battery L-grip. Lenses are the new 18-200mm VR and a 50mm f/1.8D.

 

Congrats on the new glass, gotta love an image stabilized zoom with that much range.

I just got a D80 myself, but I work at walmart, so I can't afford the battery grip or a decent lens for a while.

I have to say, I've been poking around the 2nd gen forums for a bit, and I've been impressed by your shots. Keep it up!

For sure bro! I am planning a trip here soon before they close the Parkway and head up to my favorite place! Grandfather Mountain. I also want to hit the back road gems like Hwy 63 towards Doggitt Mountain.

Parkway is amazing right now. I went up there yesterday and the leaves are starting to turn. Still a lot of green but all the other colors too. It was beautiful!
