My dads GTP car
Hey everyone, just came across the forum, new here. I have a love for rotory's ever since i was young.. here's why...
Pictures are Posted in the Lounge.
Engine was a 13b, perifferial ported with twin down draft webers. Stainless steel racing exhaust. The suspension was built by March Racecars over in England, (they build Formula 1 suspension). The suspension was alittle more than $11,000. Two windshields were bought from Team Jaguar's GTP car, my dad broke one the next day, good thing he got two. The car weighed 1500lbs with about 330whp, tq unknown. Topped out at about 160mph. Had a 5speed Hewland gear box. 4 pot disc brakes all around. Had a dual element rear wing, custom fiberglass body. Chassis was Aluminum monoque. Gull wing doors. 30gal endurance tank. On board fire system. Driver adjustable brake bias. 13 in. rear tires, 9 in front. 0 - 60mph in 4.0 seconds.
My dad also says, "Tell them ill build them one for $80,000."
The car was sold a few years ago. Helped us buy a house. My brother and I are going to go to Georgia (where it currently is) and buy it back from him. That cars apart of this family.
I have a TONS more pictures of preivous racecars he's built and more of the one im showing. If you want more, just ask or email me. v3nd3tt4@hotmail.com
