Figured out RX-7 owners are incredibly cheap and don't want to give you what it's worth.

Lol, I don't understand, people won't pay 10k for a car built well, but would prob pay 7k. Cause they think they can build one for that price, but 3 things:
1. Whatever they think they can build it for, they missed a few things
2. Proof that it was built and tuned good by how it's running
3. I would rather pay the price cause of the top 2 things plus to build a car like that involves alot of down time of the car, and by paying the price, you now have that built car with zero down time and all fun times ahead

 

People just getting in to Import scene don't realize the sacrifice that has to be made to build a fast car. They are used to watching F&F and some of the old Japanese car flicks and they think because it's a 27 year old car, it will be cheap.
RX-7's are getting harder and harder to find. One of these days, they will come up in price because the demand will outweigh the availablity.
My car is easily as fast as any $100K car. To get only $12k out of it, would be a slap in the face.

Everytime I try to race it, I break something. Need a solid rear I'm afraid.
There are tons of old videos of me racing, just none lately.

 

That's why you have to just keep it and enjoy it, now just try to keep from breaking anything, lol good luck with that though

yeah... price is a little out of line. I guess if somebody would pay that much or even half that much for my car, I would sell it!
My car is a "wanna be" drag car. One of these days, I would like to make it legite.
For now, it's a super fast street car. Just had it pass emissions again, so I'm good to go!
