Mike B's FD at drag strip

I posted in Mountain section before...but I figured I would post it for all to see even though it's not as fast as the big dogs!

You can hear I missed 3rd so who knows what I might have run and maybe a little better launch.

Awesome run, Mike! I still think we can get a little bit more power out of her, by the way..

Once I get that fuel system installed we will have to see what 10 more lbs of boost does!

I build 12lbs of boost off the line. As far as hp goes not sure....Up here in Colorado all the dynos use corrected numbers that are way off. Last time I dynoed it was 431 hp at 17 lbs. I did miss 3rd gear so it should be a little faster.

Maybe missing 3rd caused the low trap speeds....but I hope this J-spec tranny does the job. I've always complained about my trap speeds. I think I need more fuel and more tuning.

sounds like you didnt miss third at all but was kinda slow putting it in..... damn 11sec NOICE! if you get some more mods done and get better at shifting i know you will be in the 10s.

I guess I didn't miss 3rd....the 3rd gear syncro went out and wouldn't let me get it in until the RPM's dropped a bit. I now have a J-spec tranny that feels really good....so we will see what happens.

Were you running on your 19's?! If so an 11.6 is VERY impressive. If you were using stockers then it's JUST impressive. lol

Edit: Just watched it again, stockers on the rear and 19's up front. Nice car btw.
