That was a pretty quick boosted civic. He is probably one of the few civic owners that found out that VTEC isn't like a turbo, so he actually threw one in...

Nice races, though I am not a big fan of straight liners. I love curves, that's why I drive an FC.

Nice races and nice group of cars. Those AWD launches by the EVO ruined the chances for the FD in the beginning, also a quick car.

That Civic was also really quick.

 

the 7 should have revved alil more out of the hole

 

the only mods I've done thus far is :

air filter
3" exhaust
manual boost controller
my tuning

 

nah, he was already having traction problems as it was and had to back pedal to find a little traction.

 

****, i think if i were to get an evo, i would just do these mods and thats it.

And still be whooping ALOT of *** on the road. Very responsive those cars.

 

yep, they are fun bone stock and with the few mods I've done it's even better. I have to admit that when I was on the road coarse/autox I felt like I had more than enough power, it was fast as hell. Mine is a 05 EVO8, the EVO9's have MIVEC so the cam's are nice. They put down a bit more power and also respond very well to mods.
