bought a 4" turbo intake and massive cone filter today, should go nicely with the AEM EMS system I have sitting here ready to go in

I'm really sure those are fast cars, but the camera or something made them look REALLY slow.... don't know what it was. Maybe they just had some bad launches or something?

it was a wide range,
my evo 515awhp currently @ 30psi on 93 octane or 565awhp on c16 with 4* more timing -ran 11.4 @ 125 on pump gas
Gto 580rwhp 679tq with nitrous ran 11.1 @ 126
vert mustang 624rwhp ran low 11's at 130

traction was definitely an issue on the street

there will be a mid 9 second mustang at the next shoot, he traps 145+

 

Damn. Thought the gto would run a bit better w/ that power. Shows you cant make a turd smell sweet. Props to the evo. G

 

yeah the GTO is grossly overpowering the drag radials out there, on that one run he was boiling the tires off through 3rd gear while I was getting away Also the GTO has been lightened and still tips the scales at 3500lbs while the evo is a svelte 3250 comparatively.

my bud Jeremy is getting close to finishing the port job on his FD and putting it back together, he's more into autox but maybe he'll give it another try with us, he's thinking it's going to be substantially stronger this time. It runs 12.5's spinning lat time out and I think it dyno's ~ 330rwhp. Being so light it sure does respond well to hp increases.
