Did you look at that ??? The frame damage was too extensive, I got everything that was worth saving off, and crushed the rest... I didn't want some poor kid buying a copped fd, and killing himself.... so it went to the crusher....

BTW, it was flipped end over end... and landed on the roof...

I re-avaluated my driving skill / extent that I was going to do anything crazy on public roads... after that...

Haven't done anything anywhere near as foolish since then, and haven't pushed my car to that extent since then, except for the track.... it's funny how events like that make you think about your priorities....

not really though. if you have experience a near death experience, ur outlook on life and racing will be totally changed. just like me, after what i experience when my bike crash to the oncoming car, right now i have a phobia racing bikes.

Well age, maturity, and experience all come into play with that. The culminating factors were that I was over confident that I could handle the turn at a descent clip approx 80 mph, and I could have, had someone not pulled over just a little while before, peeled out from off the side of the road, and left dirt and pebbles on the road (in the turn), and I slid off...

So Overconfidence, and bad circumstance = Overly Bad for FD
