are you kidding me? take it to the track. No city is gonna let people tear up the roads. 6 people dead in the last 3 years, I understand what its like to be 16, but stupid people do stupid things. If your stupid enough to go out and race on the street in front of a crowd, your gonna get busted. Grow up and go race for real, ON A TRACK. I don't blame them for cracking down, your lucky your not in jail and car impounded, they seem pretty cool about it by just handing out parking tickets. Talk about a slap on the wrist. Wake up! stay alive. You will hopefully change when you start paying taxes and for your own cars. If you guys are supporting this in this thread, your making yourself look real bad.

I agree.. If you get caught you should be punished. It's crazy to punish the spectators though. On the other hand do you know how many people are killed in car accidents by people who shoudnt have licenses? ALot more than racers. Do you know how much money the oil companies made because of the so-called oil shortages? RECORD PROFITS!! This is just from a prospective standpoint. There are all kinds of bads things going on. Not enough people who care to do anything about it..G

Street racing is dumb and illiegal but those stats( 6 deaths in 3 years) is pretty good. I bet if they would give more tickets to reckless drivers then they would save alot more then 6 peoples lives in 3 years.

Everyone who gets caught should be sentenced to. 24 months Suspended licence, Min $500 but no > $1000, minimum jail sentence of 6 months not > 12months.

Those are only ones they can 'confirm' are from street racing. There have been many teens killed from losing control of their cars, however they have no direct link to street racing (since no one was going to fess up to racing the person/people that died).

It's not like KCMO doesn't have a drag strip in area; they should be using them. However, I will say that at least they were using a semi secluded area rather than some residential street that I've seen others use.

6 deaths in 3 years is bad. We haven't had any deaths from street racing for who knows how long. Then again, I don't street race, so I don't give a ****.

somebody dying every 6 mos is exactly why it should be stopped. no respect and an above the law attitude is what is the problem. They should crack down hard. Its too easy, so why wouldn't they. This is not the fast and furious, as much as you streetracers think it is.

during a local Rx-7 meet some F***in ricers trying to race on the interstate almost took out 5 of our rx-7's..........

i say let them die they deserve it they are all ricers and wiggers anyway....


As for the 16 year old factor!!........im 16 and would never even think about street racing much less doing somthing as stupid as **** like that since i have to pay for anything on my 7 that happens.... i will barley even screw around as much as doing a burn out..
