Dorifter Lexx sent me a copy early this week, I should probably get it tomorrow. I'll then encode it in xvid and upload it for everyone to view.

 

Got the copy a few days ago, for whatever reason the subtitles dont stay after its re-encoded eventhough they are burned into movie and not a separate subtitle file. So I'm trying to figure things out, but needless to say it will be uploaded shortly.

Figured the issue out , movie was just encoded with the latest xvid codec and the titles works perfectly. Going to split it into 2 peices and upload it starting today. It should be done by tomorrow.

Here it is, 700mb xvid file. Split into 2 peices. Upload finished last night. I just downloaded it again at work, unrar'd the file and watched it. Everything works perfectly.

Make sure you have the divx codec. www.divx.com
Make sure you have winrar to un-rar/extract the file from the 2 rar files. www.winrar.com

Post if you have any questions, the sound and video are both perfect and the subtitles work like they should. And I was able to pull 300k+ download so its decent for completely free.

Yeah its finally up, took a bit to figure out the subtitle situation. But yeah this couldn't have been possible with the copy from Dorifter_LEXX.

I've watched it twice so far, the translation is understandable enough, although some of the **** makes no sense.

 

Well, guys, I watched it, and while not totaly horrible, is certainly not one of the best. The thing is, I think that Initial D is better because the driving is real. Subtitles were ok for me because I'm used too watching craptacularly subbed anime. =]

 

I just watched it and it wasn't exactly the best but it was cool nonetheless, always nice to see something different. the FC motor was nice, looked like it was a S4 13BT with a FD UIM setup... The FC was an S4 right cuz of the tailights? The subtitles weren't too bad.

I don't know how accurate the subs are translated from japanese, but the part with the german speaking guy is just SO wrong,...the subs are totaly different from what they are really saying

 

to tell you guys the truth... i think the movie is garbage. the cars are BEAUTIFUL though :]

Thanks, it worked great. The movie is much more enjoyable and understandable now with the subtitles, even if the english is bad and the whole thing is corny. I'd definitely recommend watching it, the engine sounds and technical stuff is great.
