vid is not bad , i have seen faster though , just for the record in my book i dont count stroked and blown (especialy turbo) mild mods that car has a lot of work done to it ,not bad though , but i wouldn`t trade my 20B for it though , my 13b ate vipers like that , i havent tried it with the 20B yet but go figure......

 

I must say vipers are terds, I mean we beat one with a dodge stealth. And this LS1 bull, of corse its going to make more power its like a 7.0 liter compared to a 1.3. But whats more fun, its obvious, rotary. Which will win on the street , the rotary. Now turbo LS1 , thats some serious power.

hey V8 killas car is that fast(see number 2)....he is making 685rwhp and the car is light as **** casue its an rx7 and would pull just as hard(and thats just a 1.3 liter biatch). So i have no idea what you mean when u said we cant make a rotary do that....worst come to worst we can jsut get a 4 rotor and blow the doors off pretty much everything. Now i agree that there is no replacement for displacement. But you are ignorant if you are saying rotarys cant do that casue they have done better many of times. Just the other day in the visual section some guy posted a 4 rotor turbo making 1200hp on low boost(go to number 1)...you think that trans am can **** with that? ya your a moron for saying rotarys cant do that cause that doesnt even make sense if you spend anytime on this forum you should know better. other then that that car is fast but also very built...and also very ugly

Too bad the first person to "start" anything was the guy who said that a rotary could pull just as hard. The guy probably drives a naturally aspirated FC or (even worse) FB. That, my friend, is true ignorance.

Some people on this forum are so freakin' dumb.

And, no, you cannot build a 12A to pull that hard on pump gas, period. And to the guy who mentioned Crispeed's V8 Killa (which is an amazing 13B, I am fully aware of this), watch the dyno run. He's running 35+ psi if I remember right, I guarantee you that's not on straight pump gas.

The LS1 will always be a more powerful motor. I love my 13B, I wouldn't trade it for an LS1, but christ.. open up your eyes, people. You can't compete power-wise with an engine like that with a rotary unless it has more than two rotors. If you bought an RX-7 for its 13B to have the most power on the road, you're dumb.

JUST FOR THE RECORD, I reiterate, I love my 13B. I just happen to be blessed with enough common sense to realize that it's not the best thing since sliced bread and that, for making raw (and safe) power, there are much better options.

i'm a rotary kid through and through but i guess i can muster up some respect for the LS1 once in a while. I know a guy here in OKC, OK who has an FD that looks identical to mine minus the headlight conversion, and his car is LS1 twin turbo. he has twin T50 ball bearing snails mounted in the bottom of the fenders where the vents are. This car makes 811rwhp, so i think i can justify giving props to a V8 guy once in a while.

 

The crispeed FD runs 32psi on C16.

Yeah, I do own an RX-7. An FD. With a 13B-REW, of all engines, imagine that. And unlike you I don't drive everyone away from me whenever I tell them about my car, because I don't go on for hours on end about "oh, did you know that it's a 1.3 liter engine? isn't that something" and "omg mah hp/L is AMAZING!"

It's a different engine design, and a cool one at that, but "different" doesn't make it God's gift to mankind.
