i got new speakers and they got 2 positive outlet and 2 negitive

i got new speakers and they got 2 positive outlet and 2 negitive

theres a picture if you need, do i need to buy somthing or can i wire them a special way? any helps appreciated thanks scott

there's 2 positives and negatives cuz it's a dual voice coil speaker. you can wire both up together to bridge your amp and get more power to the speaker.

If you connect them in parallel (+ to + and - to -) you will have a 2 ohm load on your amplifier so make sure your amp can handle it.

Google is your friend,



Just find out if your amp can handle 2 ohms. if not, wire it for 8 ohms

And you would want an amp with any sub, it just wont get enough power.
