Red face How do you store your tools?

A messy tool drawer wastes time and increases the risk of damage. Do you use cases, foam inserts, or modular storage systems? What has worked best for you? Share your ideas!

I am curious about this too. So, I will give you a bump.
When I was in manufacturing we had wheeled boxes. It was nice to keep your tool(s) from being "borrowed". When we did our kaizen activities, the tool boxes went away. Everything was then moved to pegboard. It is nice to have everything within reach and in a standard placement. It is faster and you aren't searching for tools in a messy drawer.

In my garage, I have combination of both.
I starting to run low on space with all of the tool purchases I've made to get my 7 back on the road. Some ideas outside are welcome.

I have a rusty Harbor Freight box with 5 messy tool drawers and a shed full of old stock parts. I know where everything is though.
