omg! my first rx7 had the racing stripes! ha! lol fd looking

 

What did you use to clean the housing and plates?
Any prep work on the parts or just clean and spray with paint?

Also any tips on cleaning the water jackets in the housings and plates?

 

just use "Fast Organge" about 2 to 3 $$ in auto zone! works great on anything, and i mean everything! lol and its not bad for the metal at all, it would clean the housing down to pure metal, then a little sandpaper low grit or a brillo then...paint

Thank you! I like it clean plus I am a perfectionist.

The engine/bay took me all last winter. The car was painted about 7 years ago and I have owned since 2004. Biggest transformation took place this last year. I still have some plans for the future, mostly suspension and light body work. I will tune the EMS in spring and I am hoping for 380+ rwhp when i hit the dyno.

 

Wonderful job on that project. Keep up the good work.
