Getting FB Painted

Body work is just about done. It has 2 coats of poly primer on it right now. Try to imagine it without the bird **** and cleaner wheels. Constructive comments welcome ( especially regarding the lack of side molding and badges; I like the clean look).

Yeah, $250 is a pretty good deal for a running rx. Thanks for selling her to me, Greg.

Wow that primer job is good. Did you paint it yourself? I plan on finding a
shop to do it.

I want to get mine done with Burnt Orange or Red Hot Rod Flatz.
Or one of there Kameleons. But everyones getting that nowdays.

Here is a link showing some of the flatz.

Is it a good idea to expose primer to the elements and then shoot paint over it weeks later?

I really don't know. A freind of mine is doing it for me. He used to paint for a Jaguar dealership in South Carolina and still has his spray guns and access to a spot to paint it in. I have helped in the manner of removing lights and the taping of windows, trim, mirrors and the like. From what he tells me, the next step on the car is to cut in on the door sills, etc. Then it's going to get sanded one more time and then painted. Because its getting sanded again, I really dont rhink the elements are going to hurt it. Anyway, I'm really excited.
