I never quite understood the rules... anyone?

 

Its pretty much subjective. If the one behind gets left, the front car wins. If the one behind sticks with pressure to pass (or passes), the behind car wins. If there's not really any pressure from the back, but the cars stick with each other, its a tie and then they run again.

 

The above is correct. Driver 1 tries to widen the gap from Driver 2 and Driver 2 tries to close it. There is no passing. If the gap stays the same then it's a draw. This video doesn't display it that well because when they start the first run the FEED car is next to the RE-A car so why when they finish and the FEED is a car length ahead is that still a draw? I'm not sure but I do think it's subjective.

There are many videos of touge runs with the RE FD, it became one of the fastest cars on that course after it beat the MCR R34.

 

Nice seeing 2 top tuners racing like that...I'll like to see them on a track and see the lap times these cars would achieve. I would have to say, Id love to have the funds to have RE Amemiya set up a track car for me...I bet that car would be well beyond my skills for a while.

 

Wow, that FEED car sounded nuts. Fast and responsive too.

 

For touge battles...i think i will go with the Re-amemiya one...due to it having the stock seq. turbo..which allow it for a smoother corner exits...but if for any other type of tracks have mostly high speed corners or straights..then the feed is my choice...since it is loaded with a single turbo and has higher output then the re-amemiya one...both are good though

Truth be told, I prefer RE, but I have to admit, looks wise, I'm in love with FEED just a little bit more.

 

They always start side by side, but which ever car is chosen to lead, is given the lead...so the RE-Amemiya FD let him go ahead. Also, they are both sub one-minute cars on tsukuba...which is sickening because they own much higher hp skylines and all...it's beautiful really. RE is still my favourite though :P
