Wouldn't they go around the track quicker if they weren't sliding sideways all the time?
I have always had the opinion that racing was to see who who could finish first with the fastest way possible to the finish line?

 

Because the car are actual d1 drift car doing road racing. They are setup to drive sideways. This episode was to see what drift car was the fastest on a full track.

 

also, there's a second event after the drifting that makes up most of the vid time, it's a good watch.

Damn that was a good race. I love the editing and camera angles those guys do. Its everything you wanna see, at ALL TIMES lol.
