My first time ever at Moroso with my T78 '94. Boost was 10 psi. My wife did a good job recording. I need to learn to launch properly, but I still beat everybody I raced. Enjoy

Thanks. At first I had a VERY hard time trying to do a burnout and launching. I was running 12.5 and 12.6 spinning through first and then bogging through second halfway down the track. When I realized my MPH was consistent, I tried to turn the boost up, but it stayed 114 mph. Chris said I would trap 114 at 10 psi, but I was supposed to be running 13, so I started looking at the gauge, and to my suprise I see 10 psi max the whole time, all the way to 7000 rpm in 4th gear, where I let off. I spent most of the time staring at the boost on the runs, I even kept going a little at the end, but all I saw was 10, 10 ,10. I don't know if my street clutch is slipping or the boost controller malfunctioning but this is gay, although I am happy with my last run when the Subaru pissed me off.

 

By the way every single person I raced jumped on me and redlit, except the Camaro who simply had a better reaction time.

 

I saw you there Friday night but I didn't bring my FD. I also saw a Montego Blue FD with rims.

Thanks a lot guys, That is a very old video like 2 years old of me running and some other guy doing the burnouts between the runs but I am glad you like the vid it was really my first time ever ever breaking inthe engine and 10 psi max. Cool!

 

What are your mods? You're running 15 psi on stock turbos, etc., etc.? Fast car man, car looks pretty stock from the outside, which I dig. I plan on taking my FD to the strip at some point.

Ah crap, didn't read your first post. You were running the T-78 @ 10 psi = 330 hp? BTW, what front end/headlights are you running? Any more close up pics of the car?

 

No prob it's an old *** thread anyway. The front bumper is a factory '99 spec polyurethane with the reinforcement from Japan, I had the licence plate holder shaved off. The healights are Rotary Extreme carbon fiber with HID on low beams and regular projectors for high. I installed most of it myself so it's not exactly show car quality but thanks for your interest and compliment.
