omg that was gay LOL, but you already knew that. "10k on a standalone" a HAHAHAHAH. I do like where right before they start the 10min 1/4 they pass through the FDs rotary engine, looks cool. All the ricers are like "dude, that piston was funny looking" or they just don't even notice.

lol I think the best part is when Ja Rule screams "NOOO! Monica!!" as he gets blown away and realises hes not getting his menage.

I think it's retarded that they dub'd over the rotary engine with some stupid V8 sound clip. If you listen closely, when they're changing from car to car while there racing, you can hear the rotary for a second when they show the rear end of the RX7

well maybe modern hollywood won't, but the original "gone in 60 seconds" and the original "italian job" were awesome movies, not to mention the chase scene in "the french connection'

I still think "RONIN" had the best Car chase scene I have EVER scene or heard. (You need to see that in Hi-Quality Sound, on a LARGE screen)

Whats really funny is the fact that the rotary engine is spinning in the wrong direction... OMG this movie drives me crazy because it has so many flaws that make no sense... For example the floor falling out of the eclipse "danger to manifold" wtf lol and then 2 seconds later Vin Diesel hops in so apparently theres a floor again all of the sudden?

Anyone who loves this movie knows nothing about cars. I must admit the first time I saw it I liked it but I also have to admit that I was ignorant and I was entertained by the effects. Any true car guy will laugh at how stupid this movie is. And then don't even get me started on "Too fast too furious" "WE HUNGREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

What about how the rotor is spinning in reverse of what it should be. They goe through the tranny up to the motor and show it rotating clockwise, it should be counter-clockwise seeing as it is looking at it from the tranny forward. Oh well, that movie wasn't accurate in the first place. 10k for fuel management? Right! Two words... Megasquirt... Oh wait, that is just one word! LOL!

these movies are by no means accurate, but you have to admit they are good entertainment, I own both of them and can tell you this much, if I've had a crap day they make me laugh as hard as if I was watching something that was supposed to be funny

never seen Ronin... i keep meaning to get out and see it, but personally, i think one of the best car chase scenes i've seen was the mini running from the cops through downtown Paris, France in the Bourne Identity (but that may have been partially because as i watch it, i'm like "OH! i've been there! and there! and there!")

as far as the F&F series goes though, its funny and its entertaining on the most basic "wow... shiny..." and "wow... she's hot..." level. much like almost every other movie, you have too look at it with your mind bascially in stereotypical idiot high school jock mode.

don't forget the eclipse is a non turbo DOHC engine FF car that seems to fish tail madly...

the eciplse has 7 gears at the "test run" in the beginning...

the girl who races the white FD in ur shitty nissan has Recaros before the race.. then they magically turn into stock seats when she launches...

the buff asian guy who races the POS jetta in the S2k from hell, before the race he has a sleeved collored shirt... then magically he tears out it and is wearing a wife beater!

there's more i can't remember off the top of my head

That sucked absolute *****. If I wanted to see the scenes with an RX-7 in it, I would have put the DVD in myself. That's five minutes of my life that I will never get back.

F&F was the awesomest movie ever made. The part where the floor mat drops outta the bottom of his car blew my mind! To soon indeed. That Vin Cheezle guy was pretty good too. I totally want to spoof this movie now.
