Chicago Street-Racin': Z06 vs. 996TT X50 vs. V-10 M5 vs. TT350Z (Video)
Hi,
Got another video . This one also took place in the Chicago suburbs and took place between the cars listed. The video was originally posted on My350Z Forum.

Points of Interest:
1- The z06 is putting down 440ish rwhp; the 350Z TT (same one from vid entitled " 350Z gettin' RAPED") is putting down 470rwhp; the 996TT is stock; and the V-10 M5 is stock.
2- Video is being taken in the z06.
3- The two FASTEST cars there that night are BARELY or NOT at all depicted in the video. First car was a T-78 Supra (same one from vid entitled "350z gettin RAPED") putting down 600rwhp on 100 Octane,
Second car was a 350z with a Greddy TT and built motor puttin down 540rwhp.
4- Finally watch the ENTIRE video because following the credits you'll get to see the z06 race the 540 rwhp 350zTT.
5- ENJOY !

You would think that a 470whp 350Z would take 440hp Z06 all day long. Cause my 467whp 04 GTO will and it weighs 3800 lbs. How much does the 350 weigh? Anyone??

He also added a sunroof to the car (NOT a factory option) and his choice of wing decreases the aerodynamics of his car which causes huge amounts of drag against his car.
The weight and additional drag force definitely slows him down tremendously.

I just checked and the vid seems to be working fine for me too. I have NO idea why the Passport keeps going off like that. Probably b/c it's a Passport . Get a V1 like meeeee!

i bet i would take you w/ my 360 rwhp fd. i have seen gto;s with your power levels onl;y trapping 114mph at the track.

Also, I am curious to know the trap speed of the GTO. If you are correct in saying that they only trap 114 then he has a bit to go. My best is 122.4 as of now. Granted, next year it should be in the 130's

He was telling me about these races, and only found out about this thread this morning. He was telling me that he was actually having traction problems that night. I think even since that night he has retuned it and is even running more HP. Next year it should be crazy fast. There are some things that we are in process of making right now, that will be in production by christmas.
Havn't even riden in it yet. Kinda scared to, since last time I went for a ride in a Viper the guy driving it totaled it.
