Got another video . This one also took place in the Chicago suburbs and took place between the cars listed. The video was originally posted on My350Z Forum.

Points of Interest:

1- The z06 is putting down 440ish rwhp; the 350Z TT (same one from vid entitled " 350Z gettin' RAPED") is putting down 470rwhp; the 996TT is stock; and the V-10 M5 is stock.

2- Video is being taken in the z06.

3- The two FASTEST cars there that night are BARELY or NOT at all depicted in the video. First car was a T-78 Supra (same one from vid entitled "350z gettin RAPED") putting down 600rwhp on 100 Octane,

Second car was a 350z with a Greddy TT and built motor puttin down 540rwhp.

4- Finally watch the ENTIRE video because following the credits you'll get to see the z06 race the 540 rwhp 350zTT.

You would think that a 470whp 350Z would take 440hp Z06 all day long. Cause my 467whp 04 GTO will and it weighs 3800 lbs. How much does the 350 weigh? Anyone??

I am good friends with the Z owner and his car is way heavier than a stock Z. He has a custom sound system, 19" chrome wheels all around (19x9.5 F and 19x11 R), and facotry leather seats with very heavy power controls and they are heated. He is probably 500-600lbs heavier than a stock basic Z.
He also added a sunroof to the car (NOT a factory option) and his choice of wing decreases the aerodynamics of his car which causes huge amounts of drag against his car.
The weight and additional drag force definitely slows him down tremendously.

I just checked and the vid seems to be working fine for me too. I have NO idea why the Passport keeps going off like that. Probably b/c it's a Passport . Get a V1 like meeeee!

 

No, you would not. If you honestly think that...well...wow. I am pretty sure you are going to need a bit more than 30rwhp to make up for your 700 pounds on me. That is just one of the reasons why you will not win.

I also have a V1.

If you are referring to the Z after the credits that pulls like a maniac then yes you are correct, that is Chuck from CJ Motorsports and it is one hell of a Z I might add.

Oh no way! I believe that's Brandon's partner at CJ motorsports. He's been telling me about that Z, but I just didn't have the information to put the two together. Awesome Z from what I hear.

I am re-dynoing it in less than a month but I am hoping for 430+. When I had cats and stock exhaust it was only 424rwhp. The thing gets up and moves though, as you can see

Also, I am curious to know the trap speed of the GTO. If you are correct in saying that they only trap 114 then he has a bit to go. My best is 122.4 as of now. Granted, next year it should be in the 130's

 

It didn't even look like you were trying against that 540hp Z. At first, I thought you had just left it in top gear and watched him jump on it...

To be honest, I was in 3rd rather than 2nd gear in that last clip, and did not even shift into 4th which makes it look like Charles killed me even more. Don't get me wrong, he is very fast, but it is a bit deceiving. I had just broken my header (Kooks headers have an A.I.R. return system that sometimes blow off because of the pressure if you block them off with a plate - http://www.spdkilz.org/Kooks/kooks4.jpg ). Ironically I had blown off my right side at the track Cordova and had that welded shut. Less than 2 months later (right after racing that night and on the way home) I blew the drivers side. I was thus taking it easy (sounds like a freaking tractor and obviously hot exhaust comes out of the hole into the engine compartment - here is what it sounded like with the passenger’s side off - http://www.spdkilz.org/Kooks/KooksBrokenHeaders.wmv )

I have no idea what the Z traps, but I believe he has hit 130+.

 

It's good to see you got the Vette home in one piece after that night. I remember when we got back after the runs how crazy it sounded. Hope you were able to weld it shut with no problems.

Yep that is my buisness partners Z.

He was telling me about these races, and only found out about this thread this morning. He was telling me that he was actually having traction problems that night. I think even since that night he has retuned it and is even running more HP. Next year it should be crazy fast. There are some things that we are in process of making right now, that will be in production by christmas.

Havn't even riden in it yet. Kinda scared to, since last time I went for a ride in a Viper the guy driving it totaled it.
