I agree.

I'm really liking them. I'm considering checking one out to see if it's worth getting as a daily driver.

CA More Spy Photos from my Toyota/Scion Dealership

Scion "Pure Pricing" means NO MARKUP on these cars. Look how low is the Subaru-badged engine. The upper intake manifold is well below the strut towers.

This 6-Speed Firestorm was sold same day. Shifter is SUPER short-throw. Redline is 7500. Fuel cut is 8000 RPM.

Imagine this with a Garret GTX35R. There's PLENTY of room.

CA is lucky to receive priority delivery of the FR-S.

Funk,

Once we finish with our pre-order sales, I'll give you my driving impressions of our demo FR-S

The managers who have driven it are really impressed - even my fellow Manager Teddy who used to own an FD.

A Ferrari parked on our lot would have gotten less attention than the 4 FR-S's that we got yesterday. From Gunma Prefecture, Japan to the Port of San Francisco, with NO MARKUP. Word.

Stay tuned!!

Encore pic!!!

We drove this FR-S *slowly* just around the block, then up our 5-story lot to get the electronics activated and to perform inspection before delivery. That's not me in the driver's seat; I have a much prettier smile

I'm strongly considering purchasing one of these as a Daily, but I'm buying a house, so that may put a wrench into the plans

TRAMONTANA
The Spanish super car!!! I'm half Spanish, so maybe that's why I like this car? Actually, it's probably because I like unique design of it. Reminds me of another of my favorite cars, the Donkervoort D8 GT. ESPANA!!!! My only gripe about it would be how high the monocoque sits. Other than that the Plymouth Prowler/Zonda R looks are superb.

CA The best-handling car I've ever driven...

...handles like nothing else, but without a jarring ride. Best Toyota ever.

I sold this one today. Here I'm feeding the FR-S a full tank of freshly squeezed 280 million-year-old Premium juiced dinosaurs.

Yes, that's pretty much on the money.

Open the hoods of the Scions, and the blocks aren't even badged, all in the name of saving costs. The FR-S UIM, however, does say SUBARU.

The "Scion" brand was born to give the youth market options at under $20K. The Pure Pricing structure followed through *successfully* on an idea originally created by an American company called "Saturn."

So while the Scion FR-S exceeds the original idea of an "under-$20K" price limit, at a non-negotiable $25556 + fees for a 6-Speed Manual FR-S, this is an almost unbelievable price for a modern classic.

We can always install premium quality leather (with the customer's choice of color and stitching), which is easy at my dealership. However I actually like the fabric interior.

This car is lighter than an FD and even more reliable than a Toyota Camry (because the FR-S is a Toyota that's built in Gunma Prefecture, Japan). Plus 22 City / 30 Highway, and plenty of room for a ram-air-mounted turbo.

This job pays my bills - or what little of them I have, with my 805 credit rating - while I finish my med school applications. And Toyota's a great company. Besides, also working as the Manager for pre-meds and pre-nurses in the Emergency Room at San Francisco General doesn't pay too well. But I've saved people's lives. I think that's worth something.

Furthermore, every company sells something. Anyone who says otherwise is full of it. You can quote me on that.

Try not to take things personally on the internets. I don't believe you know me.

One of the many things I love about America is that anyone can believe what they want, and you're free to do so as well.

More pics !!!

Please continue the M binge, there are some sexy ones in here!

As much as I hate to admit it, I really like the FR-S. But I can only imagine the douche-baggy following its gonna bring.
