Acura did have a nice desing on those NSX'S, I guess they didn't sell very well?

 

too expensive for a japanese "exotic" and not fast enough, in the american market anyways. But they were available for a long time despite this.

 

oh, wow I didn't pay attention to them but I thought they looked nice, they should put a rotary in one...lol

 

Mazda needs to make the next RX-7 look like this. (Plus an an all-aluminum hydrogen 3 rotor, single turbo, under 2500 lbs., OMP deleted, all pulleys 180 degrees opposed to the e-shaft, front/mid engine, with the transmission in front of the rear axle - and reasonably affordable. << It's not that complicated.)

To Mazda: It's 2010 already. Seriously....

 

Sorry, kid, that car is the chassis of a race car fitted with a three rotor and a different body. that will never happen.

 

The Furai was built so Mazda can prove that they can still be on the cutting edge and be able to keep up with the big boys. Too bad the engine blew before Top Gear could demo it properly.

I knew there was going to be one person that was going to try to enlighten us with that brilliant insight.

The point was that the insane amount of money Mazda spent on developing that thing should have gone into actually producing a new RX-7 that could be sold - with a front end that looks like that.

Hence the shot from the front. (Apparently it IS that complicated for some....)
