Is the beer can an oil catch can or is it for coolant overflow?

I know they used an electric water pump.

That is Carlos Iglesias's car.
Yes the Guiness can is an oil catch can.
He uses an electric water pump setup in lieu of the belt driven mechanical OEM setup.
The pump is just behind the IC outlite pipe - black turbo lookie jobbie.
The car makes BIG power but is NOT a drag car - it's a track car and a blisteringly quick one at that.
Do a search - he has a thread on it's buildup.

overflow tank

I found a Mott's apple juice container works best for coolant overflow. I gain 15HP too!

And it looks even better in person. It's the fisrt engine bay that made my jaw drop. Can you tell he's in the military based on the precision of the bay?
