Thats a nice bike, I don't agree with a 520 chain on a bike making that much torque, but its your life.

Do you know if it will pass tech inspection with that chain?

my friend bought a factory in 2005. I'm used to a heavy old sport touring bike, and I couldn't get over how fast it could go around corners, or how light it was.

i have had no problems with the chain yet but really that is what most the Aprilia guys are running on them

i love the bike it is the best riding bike i have ever had or rode. i have rode most the big brand jap inc. bikes road with some duc's yesterday they seemed to be slower then me... or maybe they just dont ride as fast

Duc's are not straight line bikes, try hanging with them in the corners though. i flick my Duc around like a bicycle in the mountains but in a straight line i would bet even my '91 GSXR750 was faster.

we where far from on a straight line... my can ceep up with a 05 gsxr750 so if your 91 can then you are probley right ....Aprilias are not ment for a st8 line by any means

there is no way for us to know tho so i will go ahead and say your bikes are faster then mine

cheers PaTricK

I actually witnessed one at the local 1/8 mile drag races. It would have been much faster if it could stay on 2 wheels.
