Thats nothing, me and scrub practice this in our FDs all the time!

 

Crosswinds are the worst... They should have runways on circular tracks so the runway can prefer certain wind conditions... Of course that would cost too much thought.

Love that vid. It's actually a part of Boeings certicifcation test on a new airplane. They do it on some airstrip in South America. The strip was purposely built to have extreme crosswinds just fo this purpose.

 

Wow...that's crazy. It looks very dangerous, and looks like it takes a LOT of skill... If the average everyday airline pilot is trained to do THAT type of landing, they just gained a totally new level of respect from me!
