Thanks for sharing the pics Neil, I actually had it planned to go there when I was in Japan but didnt have time to travel down to Hiroshima. I was going to go after going to 7s day in Osaka at Central Circuit but we were too tired after 7s day. I will have to definately check it out next time I go Japan. Mazda Museum is the only thing I had planned that I didnt do.

Yeah I know. I bugged the hell out of him to hit up places for guitar stuff and car stuff but he was too busy drinking and singing karaoke and other stuff hah! It's all good. He's moving back next year. Has a job lined up in Japan. I'll go myself when I go to visit him hah!

and the fact that the factory was nestled in the mountains and those who did not miss work survived. well, I'm sure radiation got to them eventually. I hope to one day make it out there. My friend has made a couple of trips on business and he loves it there.

Yeah he managed to get some shots of ground zero this last time there. It was his 3rd time in Japan. He's done a lot of traveling in the country the past 3 years. Photos he has of the country are just amazing. I'm really looking forward to visiting.

I'm glad everyone really likes the photos. I would add my pics of ground zero but I think it would kill the mood. It's not like there is rubble everywhere still and stuff, it's just that some of the pics from inside the museum are pretty graphic. I will get the other 7 related pics up asap.

the point of this (and someone please correct me if im wrong) is that in a traditional piston-fired engine, each combustion chamber is relatively compact, but in a rotary engine the combustion chamber is fairly long because of the shape of the housing. In most rotary engines there are 2 spark plugs per rotary to help fire the compressed gasses more evenly. The 3rd spark plug on that engine is just to help with that compensation and more evenly burn the fuel.
