Those wheels covers on that orange FD are the strangest things i might have ever seen on that car.

Thanks for sharing the pics NeilTII! It's too bad I decided not to attend this year. More please! And it looks like someone bought that NA 20b fc from Garage-R! How did it sound? Looks like you liked that one a lot.

 

So once again, what do the wheel covers do?

 

It could be a replica...a lot of replicas out that day. Either way it was made for Wangan. Nor sure about the 20B FC but it was great. The owner was cool, he let Suganuma and my self get in and rev it up. He must have had it running for an hour while people crowded around! I have video of it revving so I'll have to get it up on YouTube soon.


The wheel cover reduce the drag coefficient (spelling?). It makes the car more stable and capable at high speeds. It also allows you to buy light ugly wheels because the wheels under them were nasty but probably light. He did a good breakstand with it and it looked cool because of the wheel covers
