where to start tuning

hey i bought an s4 na engine a while ago that dynoed about 180hp and i had already bought the guys ecu for this engine earlier(rtek2.0). problem is i dont have his old maps and neather does he. i have it setup to help me with emissions currently but im going to reset it to stock now and start tuning it. like i said, it made about 180 but it only feels like its making about 120 right now, if that. so where should i start? its an s4 engine with an s5 intake (theory's old engine if you knew it)

What ECU is it running on now?
The current map is stored in the ECU and is easily extracted to be saved.

What I'm saying, if he tuned his car with the ECU you now have, the tune is still stored in the ECU. But I guess you are saying you tuned the rtek ECU on your engine?
