Like I asked, what turbo would be the largest capacity for a 1.8 to handle? I wanted to go with a stand alone EMS, but I can do that till later in the long run when I am more financially able.

I've read people running stock S5 turbo's. Is that really as far as it can go? BNR stage 1? 2 with an afc?

I would think that a turbo up to a BNR stage 3 equivalent or a 60trim would be the biggest turbo you would want to put on, only because when you up the size of the turbo, you would need more precise changes to the timing then what the 1.8 can do. A SAFC with a rteck 1.8 will help, up to a certain point but since timing is very crucial, its the only downside for having a 1.8 or lower for bigger turbos that I would think of.

I'm still very new to all this aftermarket EMS stuff. I just don't understand what's posted in the Rtek forum. I need a tuning-for-dummies book.
