I think i have an injector problem causing a lean issue and i was wondering what yall were using with the rtek? I have rc's 750/1200's.

Are those high or low impedance? And do you have the resistors installed?

the 750's are high impedence "saturated" and the 1200's are low impedence "peak and hold" I have made a harness between the plug and the stock injector resister box to only give the 1200s more resistance.

can you back probe at the ECU for exact resistance between them all?

i was running lean with 750's and 1000's with about 300whp, correction maxed with 550/550 preset. i believe its because of the ecu's saturation-style injector drivers. you may have better luck with the FJO injector driver inline

I didn't have any issues. Are you maxing out the adjustment range? Did you have the injectors flow tested?

Ill have to look at the wiring diagram and see if i can get some resistance readings at the ecu. I got flow sheets with the injectors when i bought them. gxl90rx7 are you running this injector driver? How did you fix your problem?

no i wasnt running any injector drvier. you dont want to know how i fixed it.. i found a good deal on a haltech

i tried upgrading to 1600's but it was too sketchy staging them

I am now running the same 1000cc injectors with teh haltech and im only hitting 70% duty cycle, same fuel setup. that is why i believe it was caused by the high-imp injector drivers in the stock ecu. the ecu is sending the right p/w length for the duty cycle you want, but it cant supply the current to open a low-imp injector quick enough, so you dont get the same fuel flow as with a low-imp injector driver like the FJO

Running 720cc primaries and 1000cc secondaries. 14psi, 350 horsepower at 90% duty cycles. Correction set to 720/720.

Im happy with the cars power if i can just get it to stop leaning out. I thought about selling this and getting a haltech but i dont wanna deal with wiring up a whole new harness right now. The 750's that i have are high impedence and the 1200's are low impedence. Can i run 2 channels of the 4 channel FJO driver on the 1200's?

Hmm I have a dyno sheet saying about 300hp with one of my TII's with 720/720's. although that engine does have a race port in it, perhaps thats why.
