used rtek 2.1; wont connect with ecu
I bought a used rtek 2.1 ecu and handspring visor pda from a member on the board a few months ago but i just got my car running again so i tried to hood it up. I loaded the latest logger off the pocketlogger site and it loads into the pda fine but when i go to hook it up to the ecu there is a big x in the top right hand corner of the screen. I have tried to delete and completely reinstall this program 3 times with still no success. Any input would be appreciated.

Y cables dont work. You need a straight serial hotsync cable.
Unfortunately I dont stock them.
The Visor cables can be a bit finicky. You can try this one but I can't guarantee it will work.

Another option is to get a handspring serial cradle which definitely works.

The problem is the PDA wont stay in it when you drive around.
