Arrow Starting Over

I have been away for Airforce bmt and tech school for the last 8 months and naturally my palm died in my absence. not a big deal usually but i also discovered the only computer i use for my tunning has a blue screen. I have acquired the pocketlogger software and installed it on my palm via a new computer, but all of my info logs/fuel/timing ( that took 4 hrs to install ) are all still on my old hard drive. I am wondering if i connect the palm to the ecu ( that should still be running my latest maps ect. ) will the palm re install the info from the ecu? or erase everything?

I have my old hardrive out and externally powered up to try and hot sync my previous logs/maps ect. I am just not sure if i should hook it up to the ecu like it is now with no info.

Thanks,
Shane

The Palm will never overwrite the ECU when it connects. It always "views" what is in the ECU. The only time the ECU is changed is if you make a change to a cell or you use the "upload map" feature.

I suggest you connect then "save map" so you have a copy on your Palm. Hotsync and you'll have a copy on your computer.
