S5 TII 1.7 right for me?
I couldn't be happier to see the S5 TII chips available. I've got my build in my signature.
From what I've read on Pocketloggers site the 1.7 is the right chip for me. I just wanted to get some feedback on a few things.
1) Being a JDM 13B, I have no AWS on the engine. Other than the AWS function removal being redundant it won't be throw a monkey wrench into the electronics will it? I'm using an N370 ECU so I imagine everything will be fine in that aspect.
2) I'm using an N/A harness which has had the pins switched. However, I never picked up a knock box for the knock sensor. Is that cause for concern for electrical gremlins?
3) My fuel settings will be off a bit as I've got 800cc secondaries and I'm using a Cosmo MAF. The Cosmo MAF I ended up with from a JDM import company. I was told it was for 13B and RX7. Once I received it it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to return it and have been using it. From what I've read the Cosmo MAF runs more rich than the N370. I'm assuming that I've got 2 options
a) get some AFC
or
b) pick up an N370 MAF and 720cc for the secondaries.

My engine is without the AWS solenoid valve on the UIM. It's the #22 and pictured on pg 3 of the Fuel and Emissions chapter of the FSM. That "Output Devices" index references you to pg 39 of the same chapter. If it matters my engine is also without part #2 on the index (air supply valve)and also referenced to pg 39. Another difference on my JDM UIM is that the BAC has no idle adjustment screw and no corresponding opening/hole for that screw adjustment on the UIM.
The MAP sensor is an N370.
