Rtek chip on HKS Fcon??

I am looking at a HKS Fcon ecu and controller. My car does not have an OMP and I am trying to bypass it. Can the Rtek chip be integrated into the Fcon to bypass the OMP limp mode?

Thanks

Trevor

I guess what I am actually asking is, the Fcon is a piggyback so will it effect the function of the chip.

What HKS Fcon do you have ? ,

IF its the newer stuff, its miles ahead of the Rtek . Just finding a tuner with the software is the trickie part.

Snap a picture of the HKS unit you are talking about, and let us know what you have with it ( in form of software , etc ).

If its one of the first gen units with *****, Just skip it and go only rtek.

I'm taking my 1st gen Fcon out and throwing it away and getting an Rtek 2.1 instead.

no. the Fcon sits between the injectors and the stock ecu, it doesn't have anything to do with anything else.

An Rtek stage 1 with the No MOP option (or a stage 2) will take care of that.
