Rev limiter - fuel cut or ignition?

when you adjust the rev limit to be higher, is it using the stock fuel cut, or ignition cut?

Increase rev limit to 9200:

The user can select stock rev limit or increase the limit to 9200 RPM for racing applications. The rev limit is not variable. The only options are stock or 9200 RPM.

Increase rev limit to 8700:

The user can select stock rev limit or increase the limit to 8700 RPM for racing applications. The rev limit is not variable. The only options are stock or 8700 RPM.
S4's dont support changing your rev limit.

i am pretty sure that DOESN"T answer your question, but i ASSUME it still cuts the fuel like stock, just adds a few hundred rpm on top.

All I have to say is, I love being able to hit the rev limit at 8.5K while drifting, and having that extra push for the car instead of shifting gears in certain situations is great!
