Quick question

I need to know if the existing tune is still on the ecu now that I have had to reinstall the program?
I never hooked the pda up to the ecu since owning it. Will the ecu still have the last tune stored in it? And if i hook the pda up with no tune in it, will it erase the existing tune?

The ECU always stores all it's parameters until you use the PDA to change that by either making changes to one of the maps or configs, or uploading a new map.

but my pda has no maps or configs? so when i hook up my pda that has not tune in it, will it read the tune thats in the ecu already? i just dont wanna hook it up and erase the existing tune?? i hope this isnt too confusing. i just need it to run.... and i dont know what to do.

heres my setup:

s4 t2 motor with rotary ressurection streetport
s5 bnr turbo stage one
walboro 255 with 720/1000cc
fmic
3" dp/full exhaust
all emissions removed/no ps/no ac (just alt.)
tb modded

any sugeestions? i know ill have to lean out the 1000cc's but as far as timing goes i clueless

> will it read the tune thats in the ecu already?

yes. As I said, nothing changes until you manually make a change or load a new map.
