New version of pocket logger shuts off

Hey guys, I had to install anew digitizer on my pda (palm tungsten t2), and did a full reset and wiped everything. Well, once I got it back up I decided to install the new version of pocketlogger. The install seemed to go through. I got no erros, but as soon as I tapped it to run, my pda shuts off and restarts. Everything else is running fine on the palm. This is with the pda NOT hooked to the ECU in my car. My car is still being worked on,and before I carried this over to hook it up to the car I wanted to make sure the palm/pocketlogger software was working. So my question I guess would be why is my pda resetting everytime I try to run the program or is this normal when the pda isn't hooked to the ecu? The old version would run without being hooked up...you just couldn't do any logs of course. Anyway, let me know what's up.

definitely shouldn't do that. Sounds like ithe install is corrupt. When you installed it, did you just let it restore the palm with a hotsync or did you manually install it? What palm?
Try deleting the program ,hotsync once withour reinstall, then reinstall.

Alright...i never use pda's for anything...i have this just for this software. Here's what I did to install it.

I doubled clicked the .prc file, which opened up a little window that showed that it had been added to a queue list of some sort and told me that the next time I synced it would be installed. So I put the pda on the cradle and hit the hotsync button...it did it's little thing and said it finished. I took the pda off the cradle and the pocketlogger icon was there again...I clicked it and the pda resets. I've uninstalled the program through the pda and reinstalled it a couple times using the same method above and it does the same thing everytime. I click it and the pda resets. If there is a different way to install it...please let me know and I'll try it. Thanks.

What PDA?
Looks right to me.

If you install the old version back, does it still reset? Did you try downloading the new version again in case the copy you are installing is corrupt?

Thanks for the help. +1 on the customer service. Just giving a heads up to anyone that might read this and deal with the digital tuning guys. The new version of the software wouldn't run, but the old version would. They had a solution to the problem by the end of the day and sent me a new version that appears to be working fine.

I posted the update here
https://www.rx7club.com/rtek-forum-168/rtek7-stage-2-s4na-pocketlogger-update-now-available-643872/

But unless you are on a tungsten, you shouldn't need to update.
