NV Innovate Rtek datelogging issues.

So I recently got my entire set-up ready to tune but my LC-1 gauge is reading totally different numbers than what im datalogging.


Using the calculation from the Innovate manual; 0v=7.35 afrs and 5v=22.39

When the car is idling the gauge is displaying about 12.5 afrs and the rtek says about 10.5. Using the offset in the rtek settings I get them both to read 12.5 at idle but when i rev the innovate goes up to 14 afrs and the rtek goes down to 10 afrs.

WORTH MENTIONING:
Im datalogging through the var res. Innovate system is all grounded to the engine block minus the blue wire (heater ground) it has its own ground as suggested. My wiring harness has a healthy ground on the center iron and I also added a ground closer to the ecu on the kick panel to get rid of my 3800 rpm hesitation back for when my car was n/a.

Any advice is definitely appreciated!

What are the multiplier and offset that you are using?

After I enter 0v=7.35 and 5v=22.39 it calculates the multiplier to 3.008 and offset to 7.350 and then i change the offset to 9.350 to make the values match at idle.


Also is it worth my time to make a copper heat sync as suggested in the Innovate manual?

I assume the Var res is disconnected?

Did you buy the Innovate new or is it possible someone reprogrammed the output scaling?

Correct, I built the car without a var res and I bought the lc-1 new.

I think i figured it out, while I was reading the Innovate manual for the twelfth time I finally read that Analog out 1 is putting out a narrow band signal, not wideband. As soon as I can figure out how to connect to the lc-1 (my laptop doesnt have db-9) I think ill be fine.
