Rtek 2.0 bridgeport 6port
sup guys
i was just contributing to the forum by making a thread about my experience with rtek on my 6 port bridge na
First problem with this is that i have yet to get this to work with the tps set anywhere close to 20% at idle to get the car to idle i have to run the car at 35% at idle if any one has any ideas on how i can lower the tps chime in
second is pretty obvious the car will not even crank up on the stock map 5 degrees timing advance on the leading is not even close the motor loves 20 degrees advance on the leading at idle and a zero split.
other than that every thing is good after i broke in the motor the car pulls very good rpms just shoot up even tho i need to get a turbo manifold the car is not slow and pretty quick compared to my old stock port motor
i am running a s5 intake which is sad to be the worst for a bridge and i cn notice that with the vdi closed it is pretty torquey but power falls off a 5 really bad and the map sensors read 5 psi of boost in the intake but with the vdi open the can is a different beast altho very sluggish below 2500 it comes alive and shoots up to 6 where i shift for now till i put more miles on the motor
so i can not wait to get it on the dyno and see what it is making then i will put on the s5 turbo manifold and see the power difference.
as far as gas mileage a HALF BRIDGE is not bad when you dont floor it all the time i have the secondaries come online at 4 k and you can watch the gas gauge fall at a surprising rate worst than a hole in the gas tank but if you baby it around town gas mileage is only slightly worst than stock
my setting for now on the fuel map are 40% increase at idle and after 2k goes down to 31& increase in fuel across the board this kinda keeps the car in the 13.2 to 12.8
i should be taking the car to the dyno soon so i will keep this thread posted
here is my current engine setup
s4 na motor
half bridge port on the secondaries and aux ports large street port on the primaries
460cc primaries
550cc secondaries
rtek 2.0
s4 throttle body
corksport header
3inch exhaust form the header back straight pipe to a trust muffler
aem wide band

Still running strong I added the following parts in order to properly "feed" the bridge lol
Aero motive 340lph fuel pump (this requires fuel pump rewire to external relay it will melt stock harness)
Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Oem fuel pressure regulator delete
Rebuilt 500cc primaries (t2)
Rc injection 750cc secondaries
Summit racing high flow fuel filter
With these additions iam able to keep the car at a happy 13.2 idle and 13.0 at wot up to 9k
Next up is a itb setup to take advantage of the high rpm power.
