Flood Clear Components

Does anyone know what components send a signal to the ECU for the flood clear? My 1.8 isnt letting me use the flood clear thing. I adjusted the tps thinking maybe it wasnt acting right and still nothing. So what else can I check to maybe figure this out. thanks in advance

I had to change my TPS even though it was adjusted properly. From what I have read the TPS can be dead in certain spots (eg: when you sweep through the tps readings slowly you find a dead spot). I pushed my plunger in / out several times and noticed that in a couple of places (WOT) it would zero out. I then swapped my TPS and now flood clear works. This may be your problem too. Anway, here is a thread that I wrote not that there is any more information here for you.

Did you adjust it for 1 volt at closed throttle?

How many volts does it read at WOT?
