1.7 Flood Clear Issue

I have an Rtek 1.7 installed and am having some funny flood clear issues. When I try the flood clear by pushing the accelerator to the floor the car starts as if it is getting full fuel (high revs). I have had this on all 3 occasions that I have done the flood clear. Any reason this feature would not work correctly?
Thanks

You need to check your TPS sensor as per the factory service manual procedure and make sure the readings are in spec.

I put in a NEW TPS last nite and now it seems the flood clear works properly. I have a question now about hesitation. I will make a new thread for this. Thanks for all your help!
