Cranking speed ??

I have the rtek 2.0 installed on my motor. Im doing an fb engine swap. I cranked her today and the engine rpms stayed at the 234 default low. It is not throwing the code for cas. I am wondering if i should be seeing my cranking speed on the pocket logger screen??

Until you get an official answer......you won't see the cranking speed. Only after the engine catches and gets above the default setting will you see the rpms. I've asked the same question in the past and thats the answer I got.

Normally you wouldn't be looking at somethingl like that, but I can see why you might. Like checking the compression and wanting to know what the cranking speed is.

Just some FYI. IF you buy a wideband, and it's a Zeitronix using the palm for the display, you CAN see the cranking rpms on that device. Been there, done that.
