1000cc(4) tuning

Has anyone tried tuning 1000cc(4) with their rtek 2.1? I know ive seen guys around here that have done it they just never posted about it.

Im running 1000cc(4), walbro, stock ports, BNR stage 4, rtek 2.1 and the usual rest. I have started tuning already but just the secondaries at this moment. Of course the car idles like crap and smokes super rich. I expected the 720/720 setting to minimize that but it didnt. I will start pulling fuel on the primaries this weekend but Im concerned I might have gone overboard with the primaries.

Anyone?

Thanks

Yeah thats a lot of fuel for a stock port. I'm guessing you will have a hard time getting it to idle well as the desired injector pulsewidth will be inside the injectors dead time which will cause erratic fueling.

I'm running 4 1000cc with very large street port hybrid S5 turbo with Garrett .60 turbo housing and wheel set on the 720/720 full open exhaust intake emissions removed 10psi and runs perfect with the timing map posted on here that's with no fuel corrections yet, afrs are 11.8 under full boost

Interesting..I guess that very large street port is really whats helping you. Im going to try to tune if its a big issue ill downgrade the primaries. Everything gets really confusing with the timing maps. Ive been adjusting fuel no timing.

Yeah thats what I ended up doing. I was even able to drive it without pulling any fuel but it really sucked.
