i want the fuel injection set up

hey Robert i`m buying an 12a turbo engine from a fellow club member which he tells me you rebuilt. now i ask why would you take the fuel injection set up and put a nikki in there? is there any performance to be had from that?. now i ask how much would you sell me the complete set up to turn it back into fuel injection? i would want to put it into a 79 rx7 if thats possible how much work wold it take for me to do that the fellow member is sir rupert hobo another? why is the carb hat grounded down like that and can i run a inter cooler set up with this engine the way it sits right now

first off that is one of my jdm used 12a turbo blowthrough packages, i never rebuilt the motor though...maybe someone else did.. the reason for switching to the carb is for several reasons. first its next to impossible to get the afm, ecu and an un-cut wiring harness in the states.. second the nikki can make more power simply by re-jetting the carb, and upping the boost,where as the stock 12A t efi is limited with only 2 injectors.. to get the 12A t to boost higher reliably you would have to spend $$$$ on a ems, add 2 more injectors, and lots of dyno tuning, or slap a turbo prepped nikki on and drive, lot less money and hassle for the guys on a tight budget.. the turbo hat is ground down and a hole is drilled in the center because thats where it is fastened to the nikki... you can easily intercool any blowthrough with great results, but its not manditorry, again for those guys on a budget...
