If you are leaving up N. at 1pm, the mess on I-80 from 294 to 65 should'nt be a problem. If you procrastinate and wait for slackers until 2, you are looking at 1 hour of 5 MPH

The problem there is how do we get there? I'm not touching 290. They only have one lane less at the merge where 94 comes in. I don't think it will be that huge of an issue. The other thing is to make sure that we get everyone there. My brother, for example, won't be able to really be there any sooner.

i would jsut take I90 to I65, its the best route...around 2PM shouldnt be a problem with traffic, but on the other hand, we might hit indy traffic hour

But from Lombard or where ever, how do we get to 90? You'd have to back track and it wouldn't be worth the distance. Plus, any highway will be as bad if not worse than 80/94. Once you pass Calumet Ave it opens up as they've been done with construction there for a long time. I-55 will be going out of the way then you have to hit the Ryan. Ike always sucks. If we end up starting from the north, the Kennedy will have the express lanes closed and that will back up too. 294 is the best route. From driving it all week, it's really not bad. From 5-6PM it takes me about 45 min from Lombard to Calumet Ave.

90 isnt too far from here, its just a quick junt up 355 but that puts us closer to the city which means MORE traffic, best bet (trust me) is just 355s to 55n to 294s to i65s

Awwww, shucks.

I'm trying to participate in a few of the forums as much as possible, but it's challenging when I really don't know enough about cars to say a whole lot. Plus, I don't want to **** anyone off by being somewhere where I might not be welcomed, so I try not to participate TOO much. All I know is that I like the sights, sounds, smells, and of course the SPEEEED. Although, Aron HAS given me some homework and I'm learning quite a bit. Yesterday, I just learned about drifting! Aside from wanting to help Aron promote this event, I did want to meet some of you online before the Revolution arrived, and it's gonna be a blast to put faces to all of you once the Revolution arrives. I'm definitely VERY excited about the event. Maybe, if I'm lucky, one of you will have a passenger seat available for a ride!

Ahem...

As president, I'd be honored to give you the first ride.

Bryan...get in line.

Seriously, it's nice you're making the effort. I'm keeping my hopes up that I get this thing done. I know some wiring is going to break on me.

Stay the course! You'll get it done and the wiring will be just FINE! If not, I'm sure Bryan, Dave or Bill could help you out.

I'll be there. I just got the wiring I needed, so I'm kicking it into high gear now.

I see that the forum is up to its old tricks again, so what I just wrote went bye bye.

As I said, I just got the wiring I needed, so I'll be kicking it into high gear. You can bet I'll be there. I have to anyway.
