Ha - they both have the same address: Rx7.com and RotaryPerformance.com. Have worked with both Chris and Ari, but haven't seen them in 6 years. Will have to go check them out once I get my next Rx7 delivered next week.

I bought an fd in Florida Dec 2017, it was a Pettit racing shop car. It had alot of Pettit stuff, nearly everything from their website.

It had a few electrical issues and I dropped the car off to Chris at RP. His shop is about 20 mn from my house. I never saw so many RX7/RX8's in one place in my life, lol. Very busy.

Chris sorted out and updated all sorts of things, including a brand new wiring harness.

A month later, I dropped my car back off to RP and they intalled BNR turbos, injectors, fuel pump, fuel rail, etc. Dyno tuned and perfect. Been driving it since May, no issues at all. It's not my daily, but I could drive it accross the country in summertime heat with total confidence. (water temp never goes above 200 and avg 190 at 95 degree air temp).

The shop is awesome, very busy- for a reason, 30+ years of experience. The cool thing is they are respictvely connected to pretty much every reputable rotary shop in the U.S. (like tbe 3 or 4 we all know). No bashing or boasting about being the best, etc.
I like their GT35R kit with custom manifold they have on display up there.

I will be back in the fall for a retune and exhuast change, higher boost.

You can't go wrong with Rotary Performance.

I know they split the business as mentioned above but the addresses list on both websites seems like they are in the same business complex. Glad both still support the rotary community. Chris gave me some great tuning advice and starter map for my street ported engine in 2005 and still runnng strong.

Ordered a replacement fuel pump for my 7 today and Ari had it shipped and out the door this afternoon with a nice email to boot in a reply to my email question. Great service as I’ve come to expect when I was more active back in the day. Thanks Ari, much appreciated.

Bumping this...
Placed an order on Feb 12 and only received a confirmation email.
I asked a question as well in my order and heard nothing.
On the 22 I sent a follow up email and have not heard anything.

I dont mind waiting, but if the order is never going through I would rather move onto another shop.

Anyone know anything about them?
Multiple emails, calls, and a couple voice messages left...
It seems weird filing a claim with my credit card on a vender.

I ordered some stuff from them in November 2020 and heard back from them pretty fast. I sent them an email two months ago, inquiring about a part and it took them about a week to respond. Sent them an email about a different part a couple weeks ago and they never responded. Seem like good guys over there. I don't know what is up with them these days.

Was this through RX7.COM Performance and Repair Parts for RX-7 and RX-8 or www.rotaryperformance.com? Either way I can contact the owner (Ari or Chris respectively) and help you out

This was through rx7.com

Order was placed Feb 12th. It wasnt anything crazy too. Just a greddy elbow kit and a gasket.

Appreciate any help, would rather have the parts and a happy transaction than deal with Visa.

Not sure if you got to him Goodfella, but Ari gave me a call and shipped my items today.
He admitted to having some trouble and losing the order.
Im happy with the outcome.

Just ordered some stuff from them (rx7.com) a week or two ago. Same issue, cant reach them by phone or email. Cant tell if the order actually went through..

**was able to reach Ari via phone later in the day. Turns out my order didnt go through for some reason, but he was more than willing to get it sorted. Great dude, but very busy it seems.

sent you a pm, i placed an order on August 1st and still nothing from them, sent emails and left 2 messages.

i am in NO hurry to get the order, seeing it's nothing big and the car is already on jackstand for winter , but i just want to make sure that they did receive the order.
bought a lot from them back in the 2000.'s but not in the past 5-6 years.

Ari is usually pretty good at getting back to people, but I imagine most of the Rotary world is back on fire since so many JDM cars are being imported and there is.. a "JDM renaissance" going on for lack of better words.

have a similar situation with a local tuner and his dyno/service shop who also has a past history of glory, but have decided those days were what they were and am now looking towards the future ... else where.

well still no news from Ari or anyone at RX7.com ... i called their neighbours rotary performance last week, the lady only told me she did see Ari but they don't talk to him necessarely and don't want to mix businesses ( which is understandable).

So i had to call my credit card company to cancel the payment of 3 months ago.
Again, i shouldve know, that in 2021 anyone not using the likes of paypal for payment would be a pain to deal with. (only exception i know of are Racing Beat, who are always on point but unfortunately only take payments with credit cards).

I mean, I should've known , for those who know, RX7.com web site and their items are the same from 15 years ago , too bad their customer service isn't as good as it was 15-20 years ago too.

Luckily i was able to get most parts i needed from Racing Beat and Banzai Racing.

It's really sad to say but our nice little rotary community is slowly dying.

Sorry you're having issues with rx7.com. I ordered a ton of stuff, and it shipped the next day. This was in August, so I don't know what's been happening since.

Don't worry, i would've loved to keep supporting them.
And it's not even a question of the delay or b/o parts, because the car his stored already so i did'nt mind the delay.
What bothers me is the COMPLETE lack of communication. No calls answered, no calls returned and no emails... but the payment was taken.
But i have'nt ordered from RX7.com in about 7-8 years.

Good news guys, I made contact with Ari and he's looking into 'got boost's' issue today. I'm confident it'll be resolved shortly, stay tuned

i can confirm i missed a called from Ari, being at work and can't answer my personal phone as easily as i please, specially not on a road test with a customer's car.
he really sounded like he was honestly sorry in the message he left me, it just seems like a badluck that my order did'nt went thru. he said he will contact me by email, which probably easiest ( and fastest) for both of us.

ive worked in garages all my life, so i know sometimes we get lost in all work orders and outside orders , etc.... and stuff happens.

Also i am aware that online order issues are not necessarely the shop's fault but the server/host and maybe in my case it would be to blame.
I just wanted to share my experience none the less.

Don't get me wrong. Not because one of my order fell thru means that i think less of them. They are still part of the top dogs in the rotary game.
