I currently have an unusable 13bt, due to the lack of care that the owners before me did. If I wanted to rebuild it i would have to get all new housing and much more, so I figured it would be better and cheaper to just get a whole new engine. I am looking for a complete 13bt s4 or a REW. If I cant find a s4 (which I cant, i heard they are getting hard to find) I guess I could do a REW single turbo swap. Even then I need to find a reliable one I dont want to go through just any site. Any suggestions??

 

Do not trust 99% of those sites . they give no warranty on a good engine .

Unless there is a compression test video where you can see if the guy knew what he was doing ,

and even then you risk coolant seals being iffy .

look in your local forum . someone may have a good motor for sale . and you can test the compression yourself .

The other option is get good used housings . which can maybe be found on the for sale threads local / gen specific .
