AZ 87 overheating... need help!!

ok... i bought my 87 13BT a few months back i drove it from phoenix to casa grande with no problems and had it parked. i finally came across some money to put into my seven. I installed new brakes and drove it from my friends house to mien. It overheated!! so i flushed out the radiator and replaced the radiator hoses, thermostat, temperature sensor, and water pump. and it is still over heating!! just not as bad as before... it just takes a little longer to heat up. so today i just removed my exaust from right after the downpipe back to the tips and i turned my electric fan on.. and it is still overheating just as much. also every time i look into the radiator cap there is no fluid and i fill it up everytime. but i am getting no smoke

can someone please help me!! i am going right now to change out my thermostat again to see if that is the problem.

i have been reading over all the other posts and did everything that they told me but it still didnt work
