I had a 48 IDA for my first Gen and I had a lot of problems with it flooding. Do I need to modify the engine or something? I believe I used the correct jets but I never had good acceleration. In the end the carb destroyed my engine because of too much gas. Any thoughts or experiences to help out. Thanks JS

 

What kind of jetting was on the carb? What size were the chokes?
