?X60ft?

ok, so my friend tells me this one FD launched 1.8X60ft in a quarter mile. can someone please how this math is worked?. what does the 1.8 stand for? why is that number different on different launches?
and he's bad at explaining things, so i often ask him lots of questions, and he gets annoyed. so i thought maybe you guys can help me.

Thanks.

He may have meant that their 60 ft time was 1.8x seconds, as in he doesn't know the number to the hundredth of a second... 1.8something seconds...
