Just wondering what top lube to use with methanol and if you also run premix on top?

 

No top end lube just Caster Bean Oil for premix. I use Klotz BeNol.

I mix 2oz per gallon. The top lube is more for valve guides than anything else. Just stick with a good Castor based two stroke oil and forget the top lube. This is what i use. Works great and smells ******* sweet!!!

What fuel are you running exactly?

 

I have two fuel systems, one primary and a secondary which comes on just like the secondaries on a factory car, the only difference is the secondary fuel system is pure methanol and has its own stainless tank and lines ECT.
I haven’t got it tuned yet as we are still ironing out issues but it should be drivable by the end of the week.
One of the problems I have, is I should have used more injectors and made a different pump choice!
As I don’t think two SX Pn: 18203 pumps will cut it or the 8 1600 injectors.

Little off topic, but do you guys pre-mix when using all meth? Or is that what this thread is about? Couldn't tell....lol..
